Faster Drying

The air is spun in a vortex to facilitate faster drying and enable regenerative heating. Spinning air bounces, with softer scattering and hence less noise. The cyclonic action of the Vortex also breaks up water droplets on the skin, accelerating the evaporation process and brushing the water away without splatter.

Regenerative Heating

With Regenerative Heating the air is actually drawn back into the unit and heated again. This further improves efficiency and allows the user to control the temperature by varying the proximity of their hands from the nozzle. Tests have shown that a small variation in temperature dramatically effects the users’ perception of the drying. By giving users control we enhance their experience. It also lowers the requirement to pump heat out of high traffic or air-conditioned washrooms, which has a additional benefit for overall building running costs.

Protect Your Investment

Our brushless motor technology delivers on average around 10x the longevity of competitor units (using brushed motors). This produces a longer lasting unit, with dramatically lower maintenance and replacement costs. It permits shorter drying cycles to achieve similar or better performance, lowering energy consumption.

Go Green

The lower carbon footprint is especially important to any organisation looking to comply with current and impending climate change prevention legislation.

Health & Hygiene

The Vortex range utilises bacteriologically resistant material. Our next generation dryers will incorporate a unique patented pasteurisation cycle to further enhance hygiene.

Truly Dripless Floors

Unlike competitor hand dryers, where users have to walk from the sink to the hand dryer, the Vortex range can be sink-mounted (ideal for new builds). It is the complete absence of heating elements and electrical components in the air pathways that makes this possible. This is essential where space is at a premium, or where hygiene and dripless floor are desirable e.g. for catering and medical facilities.

Cost Effective Installation

Designed with easy retro-fitting in mind and drawing a low current, with clean power-up and power-down cycles, the Vortex range are cost effective to install. They seldom require retiling or rewiring.
